These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Leaderment Codex platform at https://hughgunn.com/. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
1. The service
The Leaderment Codex is a leadership measurement tool. It applies 13 mathematical equations to 22 input variables to produce a numerical Leaderment Score. The score is a computational output, not a clinical assessment, professional advice, or editorial opinion. It should not be used as the sole basis for employment, promotion, or HR decisions.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person’s account without permission.
3. Acceptable use
You must not: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; submit false or misleading data; attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; use automated tools to access the platform without permission; or use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual.
4. Boss Assessment
The Score My Boss feature is a personal calibration tool. It produces a score based on your perception of another person’s leadership variables. Results are stored privately in your account. If you share a result via the share link, you do so at your own discretion and accept full responsibility for how that result is used. The Leaderment Codex is not an HR instrument and results must not be used in formal employment or disciplinary processes.
5. Leader profiles
Scores attributed to named historical and public figures on this platform are the computational output of the Leaderment framework applied to publicly available biographical and historical data. They represent the framework’s mathematical output, not editorial opinion or factual claims about those individuals.
6. Intellectual property
The Leaderment Codex, the 13 Equations of Effective Power, the Leaderment Score methodology, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Hugh Gunn. “Leaderment” and “Leaderment Codex” are trade marks of Hugh Gunn. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
The platform is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of the platform.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via the website.
